A letterboxing Christmas

In J's stocking from B this year:

Two new inkpads
Two "locking" tupperware containers
One sheet of pink stuff
One promise of carving help when pink stuff is put into use for the first time!

Only a letterboxer would be excited about these gifts; most of the population would be scratching their heads if they unwrapped these on Christmas morning! Not J; she was thrilled!

Sadly, we forgot our letterboxing gear in Michigan so we didn't have a chance to pick up a CT stamp over the holidays. But considering we were only in the state for two days, we really didn't have time anyway. Maybe next time.

And we are eagerly counting down the days until January 1st in our house. Not for any silly resolutions or trendy parties, but for Letterboxing Bingo, of course!! We can't wait!

A tardy confession

Ok, I admit it. I have been terrible about updating this blog lately! We actually went boxing several weeks ago, and picked up all the rest of the Ann Arbor boxes, and I am only now getting around to writing about it. I blame it on the change of seasons. (?) Or the pre-Christmas-post-Thanksgiving stress level. Or the alignment of the moon.

Anywho. It was a beautiful Saturday (despite the fact that Michigan lost to Ohio State!) and we really enjoyed these boxes, especially as "Lab Rats in the Arb" and "RhymeTyme" were by new (to us) letterboxers. Clickermom's stamp for "In Memory Of..." was beautiful, as usual.

Now that winter is truly upon us, we are hoping to focus a bit more on carving. We both have a lot of ideas... we just need to sit down and do them! (Plus, J is not very confident in her carving skills and is feeling a little intimidated.) We also hope to do a little letterboxing when we are in CT over Christmas, weather permitting. Well, even if the weather isn't permitting!
